Have you made peach dump cake before? This recipe is similar since you will dump the ingredients into a baking dish and there isn't much stirring or mixing involved.

With just a few basic pantry staples you can make this mouthwatering dessert. It's perfect for any season or occasion. Who knew making a cobbler from scratch could be this easy?

I just love peaches. If you're also a fan, you have to try my classic peach cobbler for two for a romantic dessert or these delicious peach cupcakes if you want to switch it up!

Main Ingredients

The recipe ingredients used to make cinnamon toast crunch peach cobbler laid out on a table.

These are the main ingredients used in this recipe:

  • Canned peaches: For a juicy, fruity flavor. I love canned peaches and whenever there's a 2-for-1 deal at the grocery store I always grab them, knowing they'll get used up! Any kind of canned peach halves would work here, so whether you have the kind in juice, light syrup, or heavy syrup, they'll work just fine. Fresh peaches would work too if they're in season, although they entail some extra work to prepare.
  • Cinnamon toast crunch cereal: Adds flavor and crunch. Rather than having to add ground cinnamon, crunchy ingredients, extra sugar, and so on, this ingredient adds all of those tastes and textures and more. Use any brand you want. Your favorite breakfast cereal just became even more appealing! Try another kind of crunchy cereal if you prefer.
  • Granulated sugar: To sweeten the dessert. The cereal and canned peaches are both sweet, but the addition of flour and milk dilutes the sweetness a little, so add some white sugar to make up for it. You can always reduce the amount of sugar if you have less of a sweet tooth.
  • Milk: For the right consistency. Without milk, the dessert would be too dry. I used regular whole milk but you can use any kind here, even non-dairy milk such as oat, soy, or almond milk.

Instructions Overview

First, you will pour melted butter into a baking dish. Mix together the flour, milk, and sugar, and then pour this over the melted butter. Next, add the peaches over the top.

Crush the cereal and sprinkle that on the top. All that's left to do is bake the cinnamon toast crunch peach cobbler and then you can enjoy it warm, perhaps with some ice cream on top. Yum!

Common Questions

How many different cinnamon toast crunch are there?

This breakfast cereal has been around since 1984 when it was created to replicate the crunch and taste of cinnamon toast. Since then there have been several flavors launched including sugar cookie, churros, chocolate toast, and French toast. You can use the original or try one of the other flavors.

What is the difference between peach pie and peach cobbler?

A pie has a bottom crust and often, but not always, a top crust too. Cobber on the other hand has a dough topping instead and no bottom crust. This particular recipe is like a cross between a classic peach cobbler and a dump cake, so you get amazing flavor plus a super-easy recipe to make!

Why is my peach cobbler not browning?

This just happens sometimes and can depend on your oven and bakeware. If the cobbler is fully cooked (this means it's 200°F in the thickest area) but the top isn't browned enough, you can simply pop it under the broiler for a minute or so. Keep an eye on it so it doesn't burn!

Should cobbler be refrigerated?

Store leftovers in a sealed container in the refrigerator and eat within 3 days. You can always warm it back up in the oven or microwave.

Look like something that I would make. I like just about all cobblers, but Peach and blueberry and I can't forget cherry cobbler. My wife said she loves anything that has to do with peaches
