Peach cobbler with cake mix in a baking dish.

Peach Cobbler with Cake Mix

You just can't go wrong with this easiest 3-ingredient cobbler recipe ever!
Prep Time:5 minutes
Cook Time:30 minutes
Total Time:35 minutes
Servings:9 servings

Ingredients

  • 30 ounces canned peaches
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 stick unsalted butter

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • Pour the canned peaches including all the juice into a 9x9-inch baking dish and then sprinkle the yellow cake mix over the peaches evenly.
  • Melt the butter in a microwave-safe bowl or in a small pot on the stovetop. Evenly distribute the melted butter over the cake mix while trying to cover as much of the cake mix with it as possible. If needed, use a fork to lightly spread the cake mix around to moisten it all so there are no dry patches.
  • Bake for 30 minutes until the top is cooked to an evenly crispy crust. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • Swap the canned peaches for literally any kind of canned fruit you prefer, either in natural juice or syrup.
  • I love this with vanilla ice cream, but if you prefer whipped cream (or both) go ahead!
  • Make sure the butter is mixed into the cake mix or else you will end up with dry patches of topping.
  • Give it at least 10 minutes (preferably 20) of rest before serving because it is going to be piping hot from the oven.
