Ingredients

  • cups milk
  • 7 ounces strawberry jello
  • 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 16 ounces strawberries fresh and sliced

Instructions

  • Pour the milk into a saucepan over medium heat and warm. Mix in the jello and stir until fully dissolved. Then mix in the condensed milk until the mixture is fully incorporated.
  • Pour the mixture into a large glass serving bowl to let it cool, and then transfer it to the refrigerator until the pudding solidifies.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the cream and sugar until light and fluffy. Spread this over the pudding and the top with freshly sliced strawberries. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can adapt this pudding recipe if you want another flavor. For example, swap the strawberry jello for orange jello and the fresh strawberries for mandarin segments for an orange version.
  • Make this well ahead so it has time to set before you serve it. A few hours should be enough. If you're making it more than a few hours ahead, seal the top with plastic wrap; you don't want your sliced strawberries to dry out.
  • There is already plenty of strawberry appeal in this dessert, but you can still drizzle some strawberry sauce on top before serving for even more! Alternatively, some melted white chocolate on top would also be good.
