Stuffed Baked Apples
The apples are filled with a buttered brown sugar and oat mixture for maximum flavor. A sweet and juicy dessert!

- 4 apples cored
- 1 cup rolled oats
- ¼ cup unsalted butter melted or softened
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Preheat the oven to 350 F. Add apples to a baking pan.
In a bowl, combine oats, sugar, and cinnamon, stir well to combine. Add butter and stir well to combine.
Stuff each apple with oats mixture and bake for 30 minutes. Enjoy!
- Although baked apples make a great dessert this recipe is also great for breakfast.
- I love the caramelized flavor the brown sugar offers but you can substitute maple or agave syrup or a brown sugar-flavored sweetener such as brown Swerve.
- It's easy to double or even triple the recipe if you have guests coming over. You'll need a larger baking dish but the cooking time will be the same.
- Serve these warm from the oven either just as they are or paired with ice cream or whipped cream.
