It’s super-easy to make this Snickers fudge since you just need to melt the ingredients together and then let the mixture cool in a baking pan.

This is one of the most indulgent Snickers Fudge desserts out there and a little piece goes a long way to satisfy any sweet tooth! It makes the perfect treat with your after-dinner cup of coffee.

My old-fashioned peanut butter fudge is another favorite in my house. And if you love candy and want an even easier recipe to make, then definitely check out this tanghulu recipe with only two ingredients!

Main Ingredients

The ingredients to make Snickers fudge laid out on a table.

Snickers bars are of course a key component in this Snickers fudge recipe. You also need a few other things to ensure it comes out perfectly:

  • Snickers bars: The main flavor with their caramel, chocolate, and nuts, add amazing flavor and texture to the recipe. Slices are sandwiched between two layers of fudge. You could try this recipe with another candy bar, but I especially love Snickers!
  • Sugar: For sweetness. White sugar is a key ingredient, offering the perfect amount of sweetness. If you want to swap half for brown sugar for a different flavor, go ahead.
  • Marshmallow crème: To add a contrasting marshmallow flavor. Also known as marshmallow fluff or marshmallow spread, this ingredient works so well.
  • Semisweet chocolate chips: For sweetness and extra chocolate flavor. Using chocolate in the mixture as well as in the filling means a double chocolate appeal in every bite. You can use bittersweet or white chocolate chips if you prefer, although I love the sweetness of semisweet.
  • Evaporated milk: To add creamy richness. Evaporated milk is milk with some liquid removed. It gives the fudge a creamy flavor without adding too much liquid.
  • Vanilla: For added flavor. It works beautifully in so many dessert recipes and it’s perfect in Snickers fudge too. Add a few extra drops if you love it as much as I do!

Instructions Overview

You will be pleased to know this is a straightforward, no-bake Snickers Fudge recipe. The sugar, butter, and milk melt together in a pan for a few minutes and then you can add the chocolate chips, vanilla, and marshmallow fluff.

Once it’s well combined, you can spread half the mixture into a foil-lined square baking pan. Arrange half-inch slices of Snickers bars on top and then spread the remaining mixture on top of those. Now simply let it cool and then cut the Snickers fudge into squares. How easy is that!

Common Questions

What's the difference between a Babe Ruth and Snickers?

These candy bars are very similar. In fact, they're so similar they're interchangeable in this recipe. The difference between them is with a Baby Ruth bar the nougat center is surrounded with peanuts and then chocolate but it does have a distinct nougat center. With a Snickers bar, the peanuts, nougat and caramel are covered with the chocolate layer. Use whichever you want to make this fudge recipe or even another kind of candy altogether.

What exactly is fudge?

Technically, it's a kind of sugar candy made with butter, sugar and milk, and brought to a boil then allowed to cool. However, there are more fudge recipes to choose from these days than ever before. There are also plenty of alternative method recipes, such as this Snickers fudge, to try. So, if you're curious how fudge tastes when you add candy bars, I recommend you give it a try. There is nothing not to love about this delicious sweet treat.

Why is butter added to fudge?

Butter interferes with sugar crystallization which is why it's added. It also helps give the fudge a rich, creamy flavor. Some fudge recipes also corn for corn syrup since that can help prevent the sugar from crystallizing too. If sugar crystallizes in fudge, it can make it grainy.

What should I serve with it?

Fudge can be enjoyed as a snack, treat, or part of another dessert. Try chopping it and sprinkling pieces over vanilla ice cream.

Can I make it ahead?

You can absolutely make this whenever is convenient because it keeps for a long time (well, not in this house but that’s another story!)

How should I store it?

Keep it in an airtight container with layers of parchment paper in between. It is fine at room temperature for a few days, but if you’re keeping it for longer, pop it in the refrigerator.

Is it possible to freeze this recipe?

One of the great things about fudge is it freezes well. Not only does it keep pretty much indefinitely in the freezer, but you can also enjoy it straight from there. If you’ve never tried it frozen before, definitely freeze some - you’ll love it!

Would a different kind of candy bar also work?

Yes, sub in any candy bar you love. I can’t think of a single type of candy bar that wouldn’t be amazing in this recipe.
